POSITION: Interaction Designer (full-time)

REPORTS TO: Director, Strategy + Design (Dallas)

RESPONSIBILITY

  •  Collaborate with clients to develop the architecture and user interface for mobile applications and web sites (desktop, mobile, and responsive)
  • Dissect client needs to build intuitive user experience designs (architecture wireframes)
  • Create beautiful and meaningful user interface designs
  • Manage project milestones and deliverables with internal and client teams
  • Take direction from the project lead to shape the best possible solution for the task
  • Coordinate with our team of Creatives, Engineers, and Production, between Dallas and Hyderabad, India offices

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in interaction design (web, mobile, smart-device, or similar)

Technical Artist – Gaming

Job Location : Hyderabad, India
Experience : 1-2 Years

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in the technical capabilities of the main gaming engines (specifically Unity).
  • Have extensive knowledge of art packages ranging from modelling to texturing and special effects.
  • Be highly skilled in the use of 2D/3D graphics software.
  • Should have good experience of working in Unity3D.
  • Artistic and relevant technical skills (including concept art, illustration and UI design).
  • Expertise in 2D/3D graphic production tools. Knowledge of rendering engines.

POSITION: Creative Director (full-time)
REPORTS TO: Head of Delivery

RESPONSIBILITY

As a Creative Director you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, direction and approval of all UI/UX Creative tasks and challenges associated with our most important client deliverables across a varied range of projects, including mobile applications for Android, iPhone, smart-device and enterprise business applications. You’ll bring relevant experience creating and managing design direction for clients within various verticals, as well as a healthy amount of team leadership experience. You will be responsible for brainstorming new concepts, developing design directions for clients and leading and coaching a creative team of Producers, Designers, and Developers.

  • DESIGN STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP – Provide clients with clear strategy recommendations in areas of user experience and user interface. Provide concept analysis and offer insights aimed at improving client concepts and maximizing project potential.
  • UX DESIGN – User Experience (UX) design services for clients, including development of wire-frames, flow sequences and related interface concepts.
  • UI DESIGN – User Interface (UI) design services for clients, including development of screen concepts, mock-ups and key screen finished art.
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP – Lead and guide a team of Designers, each responsible for various levels of Mobile Design deliveries. Provide design and strategic guidance on all mobile design projects within the department.
  • CONTINUING EDUCATION – Art Director is expected to strive to be a specialist and expert in the field of Mobile Solutions, Apps and the App Stores across all mobile OS platforms.
  • Lead and direct the whole creative team from concept to completion. Plan and estimate for highly complex projects; drive completion on-time, on-budget, and above expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of the creative team’s culture and quality standards
  • Manage workflow for a day-to-day responsibility to other Designers and Artists.
  • Consistently elevate the level of the work coming out of the creative team, and foster a passion for always doing better; create a real consciousness for business results on the creative team Coordinate with UI and UX resources.

Senior 2D Artist

Job Location : Hyderabad, India

Reports to: Art Director, Producers

Job Description:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the 2D Art Team for the creation of Concept Art, In-Game assets and Animation for both external projects and internal projects
  • Produce high quality Concept Art, Illustrations, Animations and other game art for external and internal projects.
  • Contribute to the development of art in different styles as suited for the game.
  • Work with Art Director and Producer to chart growth path for 2D art team
  • Help in development of talent

Skill Required:

  • A self driven individual with strong communication skills and leadership ability
  • A strong foundation of artistic skills including proficiency in illustration, sketching, composition, form and a strong understanding of color.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Proven ability to adapt to different styles
  • Highly proficient with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and Spine .
  • Ensuring the visual continuity, quality, and performance assets as per the specks of the game as set by the Art Director or Producer.

Game Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES
The [x]cube Jr. Game Designer must be familiar with and passionate about mobile games, and strive to develop new mechanics and gameplay experiences that will take mobile gaming to the next level. As the Senior Game Designer oversees the project as a whole, the Jr. Designer will be entrusted with content creation and systems design under his oversight and must ensure a constantly high level of quality. The person in this position will be expected to generate consistently solid level and system designs as well as taking responsibility for testing and play balancing. Most importantly, the Jr. Game Designer must be focused upon completing work under a deadline while delivering results that inspire the client with their polish and vision.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years experience (Industry and/or Education) in Game Design.

The [x]cube Interactive Designer works with clients to develop the architecture and user interface for mobile applications on multiple platforms, including the iPhone, iPad, Android phones & tablets. The Designer will dissect client needs and formulate formal and definitive user experience diagrams (architecture wireframes) as well as creating original user interfaces under the direction of the Director of Strategy + Design.
