Mobile Vehicle Blackbox

The black boxes are tiny microcomputer chip sets and are part of the airbag control module.They are programmed to record data in a continuous loop. It keeps on rewriting information over and over again until the car has a front-end collision or crash. In the event of crash, it automatically stores the information of up to 5 seconds from immediately before, during and after the accident. The solution provides the following functionalities:

• Continuous data recording

  The black box gets activated 5 sec before the collision. Once the airbag is launched, it records data until the accident is over or a specific time period gets over.

• Video recording

  Mobile Vehicle Black box requires a car monitor mounted on the windshield to record the accident. The G-Impact Sensor recognizes an impact and classifies it as a crash from stop as per the G-Sensor sensitivity. Whenever a crash is detected, the camera automatically starts video recording.

• Real-time Alerts

  The app has a GPS Speed Drive which recognizes the speed and alerts the user if he is speeding or accelerates suddenly.

• Emergency Messages

  The app sends out a default message to an emergency contact along with the accident location information.
