[x]cube's view of project development extends well beyond the completion of the initial development. For us, our role continues through the actual deployment and delivery to the App Store or Marketplace and beyond into the Upgrades and Maintenance after launch.

DEPLOYMENT

The process of releasing a final App to the public involves a fair amount of packaging and assets that must be prepared and properly submitted. With our experience of completing this process well over 500 times, we are well positioned to assist clients completing this process for the first time. [x]cube can help prepare the assets as well as walk-thru the details required for a successful launch. We can even deploy the App on your behalf using your publisher account if needed.

UPGRADE PATH

During development, and as early as the Strategy phase, our team is considering the proper balance of features and functions that should be included in an initial 1.0 release and what items are best held for future releases. Our Producers and Designers work throughout the initial development to identify these opportunities and recommend the proper balance to strike. For example, here is a general but accurate portrayal of a proper release and upgrade perspective:

Our intent is to get the most solid, core functions of a project working and in the market as quickly as possible - and then build on this foundation to gradually and steadily expand and improve the project while gaining insights from the marketplace via feedback and reviews.

MAINTENANCE

ALongside an Upgrade Path, our team can provide a Maintenance Plan that covers common and general updates an App may require. As the mobile platforms are evolving very quickly, it's not uncommon for an App to need some adaption or modification when new OS versions are released. As part of our Maintenance Plans, you can receive the necessary reviews, changes and republishing of your project as needed to stay compatible with the changing landscape of OS versions. Also, some apps require regular maintenance of databases, feeds, links and other content which may be only partially dynamic or externally modifiable. If designed this way, a project will benefit greatly from a planned path for continual attention. Maintenance Plans and Packages are available for all projects completed by [x]cube.
